Short Description:
An enticing, rather pronounced ruby red, edged with garnet. Its suite of fragrances exhibits considerable complexity, opening to dark fruit such as plum and blackcurrant, then enriched by a pungent spiciness that betrays cinnamon and clove. The attack offers dense, impressive pulp, and fine-grained tannins that marry beautifully with its alcohol; the result is a solidly-built, but not heavy or extractive, wine with a seamless, long-lingering finish.
Serving Suggestions:
Barbecued meat and beef stews, aged cheeses.
Review / Opinions:
This is a superb Chianti that I would rate right there among some of the best available! I would easily think this bottle could go for $40 or more, but it is a steal at only around $20. You don’t find many 90+ rated wines for only $20 and especially ones that are this complex.
As the tasting notes suggest there is a bunch of bold flavors that hit you and compliment each other well. The black currant was one that really stuck out for me. The finish is long and doesn’t disappoint.
I think this wine could even be a little better with a couple more years in the cellar but is great to drink now as well.

Short Description:
A cru selection with its initial vintage in 1974, Montesodi Riserva is made only in exceptional growing years. It is produced from Sangiovese grown in the Montesodi vineyard, which, at 400 metres’ elevation, has always been regarded as the finest on the Tenuta for growing Sangiovese. It yields a rich, intense wine of remarkable aromas.
Beautiful intense purple red . Rich, ripe currant and berry on the nose with hints of liquorice . Full bodied, with fine, lightly firm tannins that carry the fruit through the long finish.
Serving Suggestions:
Roast or grilled lamb, game birds (pheasant), pan-fried beef.
Review / Opinions:
Another great wine from Frescobaldi! This one too has been rated by many around the 90 point mark and I would have to agree. This wine was a little softer than the Nipozzano with more berry flavors mixed in with just a hint of liquorice as they suggest.
This wine I feel is ready now and is at that perfect balance.

I must really like a product to talk about it twice but I could not let Valentine’s Day pass without mentioning Scandle Candle again. These candles are magnificent. They are soy based and made with FDA approved ingredients such as shea butter, jojoba, vitamin E, cosmetic grade soy butter, and essential oils.
The lotion that the candle melts into feels wonderful. It is so warm and relaxing and really rejuvenates the skin. My wife loves it when I rub it on her back or sore feet and hands.
The Chocolate Dipped Strawberry scent would be perfect for Valentine’s Day!

I have heard of Party Lite but had never tried their products. I knew they were a candle company but that extinguished my knowledge of Party Lite. I was pleasantly surprised when I received my Sweet Indulgence Gift Set and Party Lite Catalog (which I have hidden from my wife because she wants everything in it!). She has hinted several times that she would like the Amethyst Hurricane on page 12!
I, being the man that I am, did not really want to smell like strawberry rhubarb so I let my 15 year old daughter try this out! She smelled great! (in a non creepy sort of way LOL) The thing I noticed most was the lightly scented fragrance did not fade away. Every time she walked by I get a pleasant smelling suprise. I was also shocked at how long the candle lasted. It seems like it has been burnig upstairs in my daughters room forever.
There are many gift sets to choose from as well as many decorative pieces.
