Himalayan Salt Crystal Lamps
Short Description:
These lamps are made of natural crystal salt mined from underground salt mines in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains. The reddish-orange crystal salt is mounted on a wooden base. Heat from the bulb or flame causes the salt to emit negative ions which attach with the pollutants in the air and neutralize them. These lamps cleanse the air naturally and are extremely beautiful.
Review / Opinions:
As a lifetime sufferer of allergies, I was very excited to check out the Himalayan Salt Crystal Lamps. I love how you can help purify the air in your house naturally and with such a beautiful piece.
The lamps come in multiple sizes (measured in pounds) depending on the size room you are placing the lamp in. Care is extremely easy with just needing to wipe the lamp of once a month to remove and dust and dirt.
The salt doesn’t degrade so they will last for ever as long as you don’t get it wet or it is not in a high condensation area. I wouldn’t keep it next to a window air conditioning unit for example.
Another aspect I thought was cool about the lamp is the claim it would neutralize the odor of smoke in rooms that people smoke in. I wasn’t able to personally test this since no one in my family smokes but based on the scientific data (you can find on the web page) I can see how it would work.
The lamp is definitely a conversation piece and would make a great gift for any one!
They have many other products as well like candle holders so make sure to check out the site.
